Traditional Practices

Traditional food practices are crucial for maintaining the nutritional and ethical integrity of our diets. In an era dominated by industrial food production, these time-honored methods help preserve the purity, flavor, and health benefits often lost in modern, mass-production techniques. At HariBol, we are dedicated to upholding these traditions, ensuring our products are both authentic and aligned with contemporary values of sustainability and cruelty-free production.

Skill development

Our Ahimsa Cultured Ghee is crafted using the ancient Bilona method, which begins with whole A2 milk from indigenous cows. The milk is boiled, cooled, and set into curd, which is then hand-churned in both clockwise and anti-clockwise motions to naturally separate the butter. This traditional process, unlike the rapid one-direction churning used in modern methods, preserves probiotics and nutrients, resulting in a ghee rich in butyric acid that supports digestive health and follows the principles of Ahimsa (non-violence), ensuring ethical treatment of our cows.

Medical and healthcare

Similarly, our Cold Pressed Oils are made using a traditional extraction process that avoids heat and chemicals. Seeds such as sesame, coconut, and mustard are slowly pressed at low temperatures, preserving their natural vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. This method contrasts with conventional oil processing, which often involves heat and chemicals that strip away vital nutrients. Our cold-pressed oils, cherished in Ayurvedic practices for their health benefits, support heart health, improve digestion, and nourish the skin, offering a product that is pure and closely aligned with nature.

By integrating ancient techniques with modern principles, HariBol ensures its products are not only wholesome and nutritious but also reflect our commitment to sustainability and ethical practices. We provide food that honors both health and heritage, blending the wisdom of the past with the consciousness of today.
